Auction and dealership vehicle transport in Sydney
Won a car at auction or bought one from a dealer? We collect it and bring it to you, running or not.
Auction and dealership transport across Greater Sydney
Auction houses do not hold a car for long. Yards such as Pickles and Manheim give buyers a short collection window, and once it passes the vehicle can be moved or stored at your cost. If you have won a car at a western Sydney yard and cannot drive it away, call us with the sale details and the deadline, and we will collect it on the tilt tray.
Most yards will only release a vehicle to a carrier the buyer has authorised in writing. In practice that means your buyer number, the sale and lot number, proof the car is paid for in full, and an email to the yard naming Blackline Towing as the collecting carrier. Send us the same details when you book, so we arrive with everything the gate is going to ask for.
The other half of this work is trade. A dealer in Blacktown sending a trade-in to a wholesaler, a car going from the yard to a detailer before it hits the floor, or one vehicle delivered to a customer who bought it online. The car does not need to run, hold registration or carry plates, because it travels on the tray. Tell us the weight on a large ute or van and we will confirm.

What do I need to send before you can collect my auction car?
Whatever the yard needs to release it, which is usually your buyer number, the sale and lot number, a receipt showing the car is paid for in full, and an email from you to the yard authorising us to collect. Every yard words it a little differently, so forward us their release instructions and we will work to them.
The car I bought does not run. Is that a problem?
No. Non-runners are ordinary at auction. The car is winched onto the tray and carried, so it does not need to start, hold registration or carry plates. Tell us if it will not roll or steer, or if the wheels are locked, so we come prepared for it.
Can you collect today? Storage fees start tomorrow.
Call and ask. It depends on where our truck is, how far the yard is, and whether the yard is open for release. We are open 24 hours, but auction yards are not, so their release hours usually decide the answer. We will tell you honestly whether we can make your deadline.
