Blackline Towing is a new, owner-operated tow truck business based in Marsden Park, in Sydney's north west. It is a sole trader: one tilt tray truck, and the person who owns it is the person who drives it. That is the whole company, and we think it is a strength rather than something to hide.

We started because the basics are so often missing when you need a tow. A call centre that cannot say where the truck is. A price that changes when the driver arrives. A car treated like freight. We wanted to run a local tow truck in Sydney the way we would want to be treated on the side of the road: answer the phone, tell the truth about the ETA, quote the job properly, and look after the vehicle.

Being in Marsden Park puts our truck among Blacktown, Riverstone, Schofields, Rouse Hill and Quakers Hill, the housing estates and warehouses along Richmond Road, with Parramatta, Penrith and the Hills an easy run from there. We cover the whole of Greater Sydney, and we take booked long-distance and interstate work as well. Where we are based is worth saying out loud, because it is what sets the wait: a job around Blacktown or Parramatta starts close to home, while the Northern Beaches, the Eastern Suburbs and the Sutherland Shire are a longer run across town. We tell you which one you are on the call, before you decide.

One truck means we cannot be everywhere at once, and we will never pretend otherwise. If our truck is already on a job, you get an honest ETA, not a promise designed to stop you calling someone else. What one truck gives you in return is consistency: the same person, the same standards and the same care with your car, every time.
