My car has been in a crash. Can you help?
Not yet with the tow itself. Accident towing in NSW needs a separate licence category, and we will not offer it until we hold it. Call us anyway: we will tell you straight, and if you are safe and the car just needs to move off the road later, we can talk you through what to ask the accident tow operator and what happens next.
I have broken down on a motorway, the Harbour Bridge or in a tunnel. What do I do?
Hazard lights on. On a motorway, get everyone out on the passenger side and behind the barrier if it is safe to do so. On the Harbour Bridge, in the Harbour Tunnel, Cross City Tunnel or Lane Cove Tunnel, stay in the car with your seatbelt on unless directed otherwise. Transport for NSW incident response patrols those roads and will move you to a safe spot first. Then call us and we will collect the car from wherever it has been left.
How fast can you get to me?
Honestly, it depends. Where you are, where our truck is at that moment, and Sydney traffic all play a part. We run one truck, so we will never promise a number of minutes we cannot keep. Call and we will tell you a realistic ETA for right now.
Do you work on public holidays and overnight?
Yes. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including Christmas Day, Good Friday and every other public holiday. If you can call, we are open.
How heavy a vehicle can your truck carry?
Our tilt tray is a 10.4 tonne GVM truck. That number is the truck and its load together rather than the load on its own, so the useful answer is what it comfortably carries: cars, utes, vans, 4WDs, motorbikes, smaller trailers and light machinery. Where it gets close is a heavily loaded van, a large dual-axle caravan, or a machine that weighs more than the picture suggests. Tell us the weight when you call and we will confirm we can take it before anything is booked, rather than turn up and find out.
My battery is flat. Do I have to be towed?
Often not. We do roadside assistance as well as towing: jump starts and flat batteries, changing a flat tyre over to your spare, and fuel delivery if you have run dry. If that gets you going, you drive away and there is no tow. If it does not, our truck is already there and can carry the car instead. Call and tell us what the car is doing.
Can you tow a car that will not start?
Yes. A car that will not start is exactly the kind of call we expect, day or night. If the car rolls and steers, it is winched straight onto the tilt tray. If it does not roll, tell us on the call so we come prepared, and we will confirm we can load it where it sits. Call and describe what has happened.
Can you tow a car with no keys?
Often, yes, but it depends on the car and where it is parked. Without keys we cannot unlock the steering or put it in neutral, so a car with locked wheels needs different handling. Tell us the situation and we will confirm on the call whether our truck can move it.
Can you get into an underground car park?
No. Our truck is too tall for the height limits on basement and underground car parks, so we cannot load a vehicle from inside one. What we can do is meet the car at street level: if it rolls and steers it can usually be moved up the ramp to the entrance, and we load it there. Call us with the building and we will work out the closest point we can reach.
Can you tow electric, hybrid and all-wheel-drive cars?
Yes. EVs and AWDs should never be towed with their wheels on the road, which is why we carry everything on a tilt tray with all four wheels off the ground. Low cars are loaded slowly with the approach angle checked first. Tell us the make and model when you call.
Do you tow motorcycles and scooters?
Yes. Motorbikes and scooters are loaded with a wheel chock and soft tie-downs so they ride upright and never get tipped. Running or not, road bike or scooter, call and tell us what you ride.
Can you take a 4WD, ute or van?
Yes. 4WDs, dual cabs, long wheelbase utes and vans are normal work for us, carried on the tilt tray with all four wheels off the road. A loaded van, a tray with a canopy or a 4WD with a tray and bar work can weigh more than it looks, so tell us the weight when you call and we will confirm.
Can you move a caravan or a trailer?
Yes, within what our tilt tray carries. Box trailers, car trailers, camper trailers and smaller caravans go on the tilt tray. Larger vans can be over what our truck carries, and length matters as much as weight. Tell us the weight, the length and whether it rolls when you call and we will confirm before anything is booked.
Can you move machinery or equipment?
Yes, within what the tray carries. Small excavators, forklifts and scissor lifts are loaded on the tilt tray and strapped down. Machines are heavier than they look, and the plate on the machine is the number we need. Tell us the weight and the dimensions when you call and we will confirm we can carry it.
Can you move an unregistered car?
Yes. It is carried on the tilt tray with all four wheels off the road, so it is never driven. Tell us where it sits now, where it is going and whether it rolls and steers, and we will organise the pickup.
Do you carry prestige, classic and modified cars?
Yes. Low, lowered and modified cars are loaded slowly with the approach angle checked first, and soft straps are used so nothing is marked. Prestige and classic cars are the jobs we take our time over. Tell us the make, model and the ride height when you call.
My car is bogged or stuck. Can you get it out?
Often, yes. A car bogged on soft ground, stuck on a verge or hung up on a steep driveway can usually be winched out where there is room to get our truck close enough and the ground will hold it. Tell us how far off the road it sits and what the surface is like, and we will tell you straight on the call whether we can do it.

Booking and what happens next
4 questions
What should I have ready when I call?
Your location or nearest cross street, the make and model of the vehicle, whether it rolls and steers, and where you want it taken. If the vehicle is in an underground car park, say so on the call: our truck does not fit under the clearance bar, so we work out where it can meet you instead. We do not need your registration number to book. Do not worry if you are missing something. Call and we will work through it together.
Can you tow my car to a mechanic that is closed?
Usually. We can leave the car outside the workshop and drop the keys in an after-hours slot if the workshop has one. Let the workshop know to expect it, and tell us the name and address when you call.
Can you collect a car from an auction or a dealership?
Yes. Tell us the yard or dealership, what has to be shown at the gate to release the car, and the day it can go. Runner or not, it is carried on the tilt tray the same way. Call or email the details and we will book a pickup time.
Do you move cars for workshops, dealerships and panel beaters?
Yes. Relocations between sites, cars in for work, cars back out to customers and dealer deliveries are regular jobs for us. Give us the pickup, the drop-off and the day, and we will work it into the run. Call or email with the details.

Pricing and payment
5 questions
How is the price worked out?
Distance, time of day, the type and condition of the vehicle, how hard it is to get to, any tolls on the route, and any waiting time. If you are searching for how much a tow truck costs in Sydney, the honest answer is that it depends on those six things. We ask a few questions, work it out, and tell you the price on the call before anything is booked. No public price list, no surprises. Call and we will price your exact job.
Do you charge more at night or on weekends?
Time of day, weekends and public holidays can all affect the price. Whatever the hour or the day, we tell you the figure on the call before you commit, so you can decide whether to tow now or wait until morning. Call and ask.
Do tolls get added to the bill?
If the sensible route uses a toll road, we tell you on the call so it is part of the price, not a surprise afterwards. Ask when you call.
How do I pay?
Cash, PayID or bank transfer, paid when the job is done. Tell us which suits when you call and we will sort it out then.
Can a workshop or business open an account?
Yes. We set up trade and business accounts for workshops, dealerships and panel beaters who send us regular work. Rates and billing are agreed up front so you know what a run costs before you book it. Call or email and we will organise it.

Where we go
3 questions
Which areas do you cover?
Our truck is based in Marsden Park and covers Greater Sydney: the CBD, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Western Sydney, South West Sydney and the Sutherland Shire. Response times vary with distance and traffic, and we tell you honestly on the call. Not sure if we cover you? Call and ask.
Where are you based?
Marsden Park, in Sydney's north west, close to Blacktown, Riverstone, Schofields and Rouse Hill. We cover Greater Sydney from there. Distance affects the ETA: a job in the north west is usually quicker for us than one on the far side of the city, and traffic decides the rest. Call and we will give you a realistic ETA for where you are.
Do you do interstate transport?
Yes. We do interstate and long distance vehicle transport as a booked job rather than an emergency callout. Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, regional NSW: tell us the pickup, the destination and the vehicle, and we quote that run on its own. Because our truck is away for the trip, these are arranged ahead by phone or email instead of same day. Call or email with the details and we will work out a date and a price.
Did not find it? Call and ask. If it can wait, email us and we will reply when we are off the road.
