Tow truck in Western Sydney

Western Sydney is home. Our tilt tray is based at Marsden Park, NSW 2765, which puts the M7 at Richmond Road, the Windsor Road run up through Rouse Hill, and the Blacktown, Riverstone, Schofields, Quakers Hill and The Ponds corridor in our own back yard. We know where Richmond Road stacks up on a weekday afternoon, which half-built estate streets in Schofields and The Ponds still have nowhere sensible to load from, and which way around Blacktown is quicker at two in the morning. A call from this corner of Sydney is the shortest run we do, and it is the one part of the city where we are already close before the phone rings.

Past the back yard, the motorways carry most of the work. The M4 runs from Parramatta out through Penrith towards the mountains, the M7 cuts north to south past Prospect, and the M2 and Windsor Road feed the Hills from Baulkham Hills to Castle Hill, with the Great Western and Cumberland Highways picking up everything in between. If you have stopped on any of them, the car matters less than you do: get behind the barrier, note the exit number or the nearest kilometre marker, and ring from there. Off the motorways, the Prospect Highway and Church Street in Parramatta bring the everyday breakdowns, along with the car parks at Rouse Hill and Blacktown.

The rest of the week is workshops, estates and yards. A work van that will not start at Wetherill Park or Seven Hills. A flat battery at a Rouse Hill car park, a flat tyre on Schofields Road, or fuel dropped out to someone who has misjudged the last stretch home. Dealers, mechanics and panel beaters from Blacktown to Penrith move cars between sites with us, and unregistered vehicles travel the same way. Being based this far west also makes the long hauls practical, so interstate and long distance vehicle transport is booked straight off our own doorstep, whether that is down the Hume, up the coast or out over the mountains. The one real limit is weight: our truck is a 10.4 tonne GVM tilt tray, and that figure covers the truck as well as the load, so where a vehicle, a trailer or a piece of machinery could be heavy, give us the weight on the call and we will confirm before anything is booked.
